We are Community Champions who are proud to give back to Columbus and the other communities we call home. The Dawson Community Champions Foundation supports educational and philanthropic causes benefiting underserved youth and families in Central Ohio.


Creating community engagement opportunities is another way to enrich and inspire the lives of our Employment Experts all while giving back. We believe that volunteering is a great way to network and practice Dawson’s core values: Passionate Commitment, Resilience, Integrity, Accountability, and Inclusion.

A Charitable Workforce


Volunteer Time Off, Dawson’s volunteer program, encourages Dawson’s Employment Experts to get involved with charities they’re passionate about. Dawson’s colleagues have provided brown bag lunches to help meet the physical and spiritual needs of individuals on the streets of Columbus through the Dream Center, mentor and coach with the Special Olympics of Ohio, serve dinner to families at the Ronald McDonald House Charities of Central Ohio, and crafted blankets for children receiving services at Nationwide Children’s Hospital.

Additionally, the Dawson wellness committee supports participation in charity races for a variety of causes. We strive to celebrate and encourage active and healthy lifestyles. Riders for Team Dawson have raised thousands of dollars for cancer research at The James Cancer Hospital at The Ohio State University Medical Wexner Center. Each year, a team of Employment Experts run and walk in the Capital City 5k, Quarter, & Half Marathon benefiting the OhioHealth Foundation. Proceeds raised in 2023 supported OhioHealth’s Cold Cap Therapy program, an innovative cancer care treatment that helps prevent or minimize hair loss from chemotherapy.
